The purpose of the classes is to teach children to read and write. These skills are very important for improving and developing your spoken language. Our children grow up outside the language environment and their level of Russian language is different, so it is very important to pay special attention to each student.
In Russian language lessons with younger children we:
Learning letters
Playing with letters
Making up syllables
Learning to read and put syllables into words
Learning to write letters, words and put together sentences
We learn poems, sayings, tongue twisters
Expanding vocabulary
Let's understand the complexities of the Russian language through the game!
Classes with older children are based on D. Kumatrenko’s program “Primary School for Bilinguals.” The study of grammatical rules and spellings of the Russian language is introduced through their direct application in the language within the framework of the topics of the subject “The World Around us”, and vice versa.
As part of the literary reading course, we will work with works of children's classics. The program includes: a short text for independent reading with pre-text and post-text tasks, and a more complex work that an adult reads, and the child listens and completes the proposed tasks in the process. Thus, this allows you to simultaneously develop independent reading and work with longer and more complex works, without waiting for the moment until the child is able to read them independently, without the help of an adult.
